Currently, there is very limited custom ROM support for the MeCool KT1. Unlike the NVIDIA Shield or older Xiaomi boxes, the KT1 has a locked bootloader in many regions.
Open the Amlogic USB Burning Tool on your PC as an Administrator.
Updates patch memory leaks, reduce system lag, and improve navigation speed.
If your device is soft-bricked, stuck in a bootloop, or fails to receive OTA updates, you must manually flash the stock firmware. Manual flashing completely wipes the internal storage and restores the device to its factory state. Prerequisites: A Windows-based PC. A high-quality USB Type-A to Type-A male cable.
Before flashing any firmware, you must verify your device specs. Installing firmware meant for a different processor will permanently brick your device. Amlogic S905X4-B CPU: Quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 GPU: ARM Mali-G31 MP2 RAM: 2GB DDR3 Storage: 16GB eMMC OS: Android TV 10 (Standard base)
